PVP Free Day
We created the possibility to have a PVP free day, if PVP was enabled on the server, so players could come together without the fear of being killed and robbed.
Player Verification
In the lack of SSO we created an ingame verification system via the homepage, so we could identify players by their userid and use this for features like classes.
Leaderboard
We created a season and global leaderboard, so players would find a new challenge in competing with each other.
Battlegrounds
We wanted to prevent players to hide in safe zones. So we created battlegrounds that would force players to fight each other. We also wanted to prevent steeling by limiting the amount of people in a safe zone, before battlegrounds is triggered.
Expeditions
We want to give players the possibility to venture the tower, while it is not implemented in the general gameplay by ALTA.
Debugging System
We created a debugging system that saves every call of our endpoints, so we can recreate events and test new or updated code on our endpoints.
Discord Shout
We are informing discord members about events like “player joined”, “Payday” and “Player Killed”, so they know what’s going on on the server, and are more likely to join the game.
Pay Day
We are rewarding players for being online with gold coins.
Single Server Settings
To make TheCloak a multiverse (multi server bot), we created server settings, so server owners could decide which features would be part of their TheCloak experience, while still playing on the leaderboard of TheCloak.
