Google gave up on Voice Actions, but the Cloak did not!

We have always dreamed of having a magical class in A Township Tale. From the moment we introduced the Priest to the Cloak Bot, we envisioned a magical experience driven by voice commands—the simplest and most immersive way to interact with the game in virtual reality. To achieve this, we created the Google Voice Action, allowing players to effortlessly say their prayers and perform magic within the game.

However, we recently received disappointing news. Google has decided to discontinue Voice Actions on the Google Assistant and Google Speakers/Displays, rendering our beloved Priest Class useless.

But we didn’t give up on the Priest, as it is one of our favorite jobs in A Township Tale!

The Cloak Voice App is here

Today, we are excited to announce the beta release of our own Cloak App. We have successfully ported all the functionalities of the Google Actions to the app, bringing the Priest back to life!

Please note that, unfortunately, the PWA (Progressive Web App) is currently experiencing some compatibility issues with Apple devices. Nonetheless, we encourage you to give it a try, as we are actively working on making it available for Apple users as well.

The app is a PWA that you can install on your Android device, enhancing your experience with improved performance and functionality.

Additionally, we invite you to join our Discord server and report any bugs you encounter in our app channel. Your feedback is invaluable to us!
