The Cloak Voice App: Massive 4.7 Update Drop! 🚀

It’s been a minute since our last official drop, but we haven’t been sleeping. We have been locked in the forge overhauling The Cloak Voice App from the ground up!

If you didn’t know, The Cloak is our custom voice-activated companion app that lets you check your A Township Tale (ATT) stats, change your  classes, and trigger prayers —completely hands-free while you’re still wearing your VR headset.

We just pushed Version 4.7.158, and the changes are absolutely massive. Here is what you need to know:

📖 Story Mode (BETA) is LIVE!

We are beyond hyped to introduce the beta version of **Story Mode**! This isn’t just a menu—it’s an immersive, audio-based RPG experience. The app now tracks your exact location and playtime down to the millisecond. Based on where you travel in-game and the choices you make, the Cloak will stream custom ambient audio and voice-acted narration straight to your ears. Your journey just got a lot more cinematic.

⚡ Lightning Fast, Uninterruptible Loading

Nobody likes staring at a frozen screen. We entirely rewrote the app’s boot engine.

– The New Splash Screen: When you launch the app, you’ll be greeted by a slick new loading screen while we fetch your live ATT server data in the background. No more frozen UI!

– Play Uninterrupted: We ripped out an annoying bug where the app’s background cache would sometimes forcefully refresh the page while you were trying to use it. You hold the power now. The app will *only* cache refresh when you boot it up, or if you manually tap the version number in the corner.

🔒 Safer Linking

Are you new to the Multiverse? We added a new guardrail for unlinked accounts. If you haven’t linked your ATT Account yet, the app gracefully hides the advanced menus so you don’t accidentally click something that requires an active ATT Link. We’ll guide you straight to the linking process instead!

⚙️ The Nerdy Stuff (Under the Hood)

For the tech-heads out there, we gutted the old monolithic code and rebuilt the app’s architecture. It is now a highly modular Progressive Web App (PWA) with separated state management, an upgraded Dialogflow Natural Language engine, and relative-path routing. What does that mean for you? Way less crashes, faster voice recognition, and a buttery-smooth experience on your phone.
